Delete Static Aircraft from Scenery

Paulh44 Guest

Does any one know how to delete static aircraft on add on scenery. I don't care for some of their style and I would rather use my selected AI Traffic
instead.

Have a look for a "static BGL" file in the scenery folder (the one you d/loaded)
Thats the one to remove (normally)

I've looked there, but it seems to be a line in the .bgl file.

Confused Unless its marked as static or something along those lines then the only way to see it you can remove them is to remove(to somewhere safe) one bgl file at a time, then firing fs9 up and checking(You may get a scenery error code on start up,just press ok for now)
Once you have found it,leave it out, then delete from scenery settings and reinstall it to get rid of the error msge

What scenery is it,I may have it

The scenery is for Kansas City, Missouri, but the author added some very low quality static aircraft. I have enough resources to add my own static and ai traffic, so I don't need any preloaded aircraft.

The scenery is Kansas City downtown (Wheeler), and was created with Airport for windows 2.6
