my sidewinder force feedback is down, can you recommend a better one?
why I like joystick is because I like the force feedback, although it offers the most primitive motion simulation, it gives the feel of a moving aircraft.
I dont think the yoke has this ability.

I have a Sidewinder (not FF) and am very happy with it. Too bad they all have been discontinued. I bet you could still find a new one for XP if you searched the net.

After Sidewinder I would buy a Saitek, I don't know which is FF, check them out in this link.

Just to make note of, a relative got a Saitek joystick last year. He said he wished he got something different. The stick is tall and it has a somewhat narrow base. Compare that to what you are used to in a Sidewinder; wide base and a short stick. I would think a longer stick means a longer throw/movement. I never tried it so I cannot actually say first hand what the Saitek actually feels like in a sim.
