Join a VA 😉 . It certainly gives you purpose/direction to your flying!
Or just simply sift through their schedules, you'll find some good flights.
Hey Original Grunge!
Which online server do you use? I got banned from VatSim because my work e-mail won't accept their spam and they won't let me use a webbased e-mail.
I use VATSIM, and sorry about the spam guard. I wish there was a way around that...
Other than that, i know IVAO (I think is what it's called) supposedly offers the same service. Good luck!
i joined one but i don't know what i do next
Which one did you join? If you joined VATSIM, they have a PRC (pilot resource center) that provides EXTREMELY helpful information =). Yes it's a lot of reading, but worthwhile!

This gives you ServInfo which will show you all of the planes/controllers currently on VATSIM.

And this is what you use to communicate with ATC.
Note, you need to download FSUIPC to get squawk box to work:

If you need someone to orient you to flying, I know that tuesday nights they usually teach a lesson down at KRSW (florida). Also, I'd be available to fly some GA aircraft with anyone interested to learn what to say/listen for and such, esp. how to read charts from www.myairplane.com! That becomes especially important!
