Evil or Very Mad Twisted Evil

I downloaded some crap that they dared to call airplane and it said in the readme that I must extract ALL folders in FS main and OVERWRITE if prompted!!! That included overwriting FSUIPC too!!! And when I started FS there was an error message and the Squawkbox is GONE!!! WHAT DO I DO???

This is why I use addit pro, so that you don't hurt your game, and easily uninstall bad planes and scenery. As far as what to do now, see if you can repair your install by going to control panel, add/remove progams. It may give you the option of repairing the program.

I prefer not to trust installation instructions. I suggest you always unzip the contents of an a/c zip file into some Temp folder first, then move the gauge, effects and aircraft files/folders to their corresponding folders in FS9 . Hopefully you can repair any damage done.

I tried, but I don't want to go on with Jelami's suggestion, because I'm afraid of deleting something else, and it's not really solution, anyway...

It's just gone.

Looks like I'll have to download it again!
