If you read this in time. Turn on your news quickly! There is a jet blue with nose gear problem. They call it "cocked gear" the nose gear has rotated 90 degrees. They are afraid it will collapse upon landing. They will be in the air for 90 more minutes. This is happening right above my house since I live under the runway 30 approach!

Yeah, I watched it live. it was a perfect landing under the circumstances. I saw sparks start to come out after all the rubber was burned off. I would have perferred to use the shute and get out of that plane as quickly as I could if I were one of the passengers.

RM: Sorry about posting it in the wrong section. Embarassed

I thought that in the final analysis JetBlue Flight #292 proved that the Airbus is indeed a sturdy and well built aircraft. Unimaginable stresses exerted on the front landing gear and yet she came in and stayed upright. -I am a Boeing fan but think that Airbus showed a well built aircraft yesterday upon arrival at LAX under some very adverse circumstances.

All Airbuses are built with the latest technology. The A380 was built with a really good technology, thus meaning it's a safe aircraft.

Think about this....Last month, like 5 airplanes crashed. The TANS B737-200 attempted an emergency landing but the aircraft crashed...It was a pilot error because the pilot should have diverted. A lot of people died.

A Air France A340-300 overshot the runway after landing. All the passengers/crew stepped off the aircraft before 2 minutes. That showed how good Airbus is.

In this JetBlue A320-200, all people survived too. These Airbus aircraft are very safe.

Also Boeing makes safe aircraft, but Airbus showed how good they are when an emergency is performed.

Note: I don't want to start a discussion about this. I'm just saying that Airbus showed a great job after this JetBlue emergency landing.

This is the easiest part of the story my friend....A tug vehicle or a tow track can do this job or a compination of both can do this hard job.
