How many add-on planes do you have?

I have downloaded and tried quite a few, the ones I kept probably number less than ten.

I have discarded more than I have kept. Maybe it's just me but a lot of the downloads just don't measure up.

Well I only fly 3 airplanes in FS9.

Flight 1 Cessna Skyhawk
Aeroworx Super King Air 200
Captain Sim C-130

There is a couple of files I highly recommend if you fly those planes, they are upgrades for two of the default planes in FS2004. One is for the Piper Cub and the other is for the DC3. Both make the flight characteristics of the planes much closer to the real thing IMO. Both of those planes are gentle, stable flyers but the originals aren't that good.

These aren't downloads of new planes, but worth the time to download them.

Yea, I've run into a few cruddy ones myself. I just tried an F-15 and it had a really bad panel and no virtual cockpit. I deleted it faster than you could say that plane stinks. 😂

Being a disgusting glutton when it comes to FS I can't be bothered to count, but my estimate is around the 100 mark. We're talking aircraft. Add all the imaginable eyecandy in the form of textures and earcandy (spacegobbling soundsets) - all this leaves me with a huge collection to choose from.

At times I feel like a kid in a candy store 🙂) - just browsing my a/c menu and finding planes I didn't even know I had. I do make a point of testflying each one as I install it, but boy there's so many new ones out there every day and I just gotta try them all !!!

Truth be told, I have over 200. I've started weeding out the less capable models. (Payware has spoiled me.)

200! Woa thats a lot. It must take you like an hour to get through the list of them. I got two more downloads yesterday. One is a CH47 Chinook, and the other is a crash program that makes explosions when you crash. I got them both from simviation.com. It's a decent download site, and I have found some excellent downloads there.

Oh my god! I just looked at my aircraft folder and it's 13.3 GB!

My Aircraft folder is at 1.32 GB. I suppose I have about 18-20 addon aircraft installed. Mainly hard to find models. Some old liveries from yesteryear like the B727-200 in circa 1973 colors.

Boeing 727-200 OC.

Just downloaded a Blachawk from simviation. Excellent helicopter, that thing is. Who knew You could push 180 m.p.h. with a helicopter! Thats faster than some of the planes I have!

I thought my aircraft folder was worse than it is, 6.14gig.

Do you have the Bill Lyons Waco Biplane? If you like the sounds, that radial engine on the Waco is terrific.🙂

The file name is ccwaco4 and I think all of the major sites like Avsim has it.

If you like the sound of radial engines (my favorite) then this is a must have. Not only is the sound good, but it's a great airplane.

Avsim does have it, I just checked. Just type in Waco and scroll down until you see this ..........

I have the same problem once in a while. I use Netscape and can right click on where the picture should be and click view image. That usually works. Also sometimes reloading the page works.

There is only one Bill Lyons Waco. You shouldn't have any trouble finding it.

I did refersh the page but the problem excists...Maybe the site you have upload this pic has been down or something.Anyway i find the craft but i have to wait till Monday in order to download it from my offices pc cause i have a broadband there.(home is a dial up connection :oops🙂if i start download it now at home it will ends on Monday so its the same thing.... 😉

Anyways, I have about 500 add-on aircraft, I'm not kidding. 😳 My fs folder is like 27 something gb. I've got alot of scenery too.

500! Jeez! Your aircraft folder must take up like 3/4 of your memory! 😳

I'm currently using 10.4GB of space for FS9 folder, I would say I've got near 100 aircraft in there.

My Aircraft folder is 1.12 gig. Alot of new planes, alot of old planes, repaints of palnes, and Helos. Oh and some cars and boats.And fighters and bombers. and, no wait i think thats it. 😂 I'm gonna say about 25-30 add-on palnes/helis/boats/cars/repaints. Also how do u put a picture under your name like Warhawks?

I have around 30 commercial payware aircraft, and around 10 freeware (I'm fussier on freeware 😂 )..... I am addicted and would buy pretty much all commercial payware aircraft add-ons that come out..... 😂
