Okay, I am sitting on the runway in a Caravan at Cozumel. Alt: 20.6 ft. KIAS: 0 Wind: 298/19Mag.
The figures make no sense. I take off with no problem. and at 10,000 ft, the wind is 37.
So, how is it possible to take off in winds of 298, and where is Hurricane Wilma when I am in the air?
BTW, I am using ActiveSky.
Wind: 298/19 means 19 knots from 298 (West by North-West)
Argh!. I read it backwards!
I guess that even ActiveSky, dowsn't do hurricanes. 😞
