Any good VA?
Lots of them. Are you interested in flying real world schedules, online, US, Europe, elsewhere, freight, passengers? Give us an idea of what your interests are.
well short haul comercial really, and i dont want stupid FScars, thats just annoying! Maybe a VA Easyjet, or BMI, heck if not will anyone start one with me?
I had a link to a site that listed VAs and what the focus of each was, but I can't find it.
Google virtual aiurline. That should provide you with plenty of choices.
I am a member of the FTG (Flying Tiger Group) Virtual Airlines. You can fly for many airlines you want. Here's the list of all the airlines available to fly in FTG.
BMI is there, but not Easyjet. Do you like British Airways? You can fly British Airways. Do you like Virgin Atlantic? You can fly Virgin Atlantic too.
When you join the FTG, you can fly for all the airlines listed in the link above as many times as you want. You need to join an airline first, but once you did that you can choose the airline you want to fly. Do you know what I mean? For example: I am LX741. LX is the IATA code of Swiss International Airlines, which is the airline I joined. 741 is a number I chose. You username needs to be in that format. Read the "New Pilots" section for more information.
Oh, you can't join the BMI airline because they don't have a website for that airline, but you can still fly for that airline. Join any airlines under the "Flying Tigers Group Virtual Airlines" section or the "FTG Affiliates or Divisions within our virtual airlines" section.
ACARS are used only if you want. You can fly your PIREPS manually just like most of the pilots there.
If you have any other question let me know and I can help you.
you have to register and i cant find that link!! can you give me some direct links?

Sign-up here.
lol a exam it doesnt even load how stupid.
First, I didn't give you a direct link because I didn't know which airline you wanted to join. If I knew that, I'd give you the direct link.
Second, the exam loads and works fine with me. The webiste doesn't have any problems with that.
Here's a list of VAs taken straight out of my top secret Bookmarks folder. As I'm absolutely incompetent when it comes to formatting docs and the like, I don't know how to turn those 'lines' below into URLs or links that you can click on.
Just paste a 'line' into your search-bar and you'll get there.
The VAs are in no particular order - just the way they've accumulated over time.

Hope this was helpfull!

I've read somewhere that there won't be an easyjet VA something to do with permission and rights to use there logo's.

Must have been down, it works now.
A huge amount of pop-up garbage and a poor page design.
Thanks for pointing it out, good luck.
It works now.
I wouldn't want to join that VA with all those pop-ups

I don't blame you.
What's surprising is that it's a ".com" not a free site (Tripod etc).
It looks like he's trying to pay for it with annoying results.
Oh, yeah, that's right. And there's only one pilot there, which I think it's the admin.
Easyjet virtual airlines has moved to.
I like that spy face...
Thank you for the compliment, Greekman - but I can assure you - the mission is deadly serious
So serious in fact, that, if we're not careful we'll be OFF TOPIC before we know it

Ok Ok...i stop...i give up.
That's a better website, and at least I don't get any pop-ups.
Much better, good find!

Which one?? the one from my
Easyjet virtual airlines has moved to:
If that's the one, I'm glad I could have been of help (what kind of english is this???)
Anyway, I hadn't exactly been searching for it - I just copied what I saw having used the original link. I noticed the pop up warnings and blinking lights and was outta there like a bat out of hell.
And guess what?? A SpyBot scan a few hours ago picked up 2 tracking cookies : No Information Available.
I know my browsing habits and pretty much remember by the next day whether I went outside my usual boundaries. I bet that's where I picked them up. There should be a law against that rubbish
Tailhook.
Yes that one.
I dump my cookies, cache and history every night so I get rid of that the easy way.
I ran Ad-Aware and Spybot tonight, nothing but "Malware"...harmless junk.
