TraineeEverytime I download FSX there is no desktop icon. How can I use FSX without the Icon. Where is it located?

First OfficerGo to start, all programs, microsoft games, Flight simulator X. Are you sure you checked to install and icon with it.

First OfficerYou need to create a short-cut and drag it to the desktop.

Chief CaptainPrograms/Microsoft Games/FSX/Right click on the icon and click on "pin-it-to-start-menu".
Then you'll have it on the left side of your start menu not on the desktop.
It looks neater that way.
First OfficerI thought he said he wanted a desk top icon. Oh well, either way will work.

Vista?
By definition games have to add themselves to the Game Explorer and not add a desktop shortcut on Vista.
