No desktop Icon

Go to start, all programs, microsoft games, Flight simulator X. Are you sure you checked to install and icon with it.

i dont see a Microsoft games tool?

You need to create a short-cut and drag it to the desktop.

Programs/Microsoft Games/FSX/Right click on the icon and click on "pin-it-to-start-menu".
Then you'll have it on the left side of your start menu not on the desktop.
It looks neater that way.

I thought he said he wanted a desk top icon. Oh well, either way will work.

By definition games have to add themselves to the Game Explorer and not add a desktop shortcut on Vista.
