Help I'm very glum .
I removed my copy of FSX from my computer and now can't get it back onto the hard drive. 😞 Rafman925

You left a "hidden" folder or something in the registry, that's why the machine thinks FSX is still there.
This works for FSX too.

You could also try the free version of http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
It may do the job.

RadarMan I'm grateful for your help. I ran Microsoft support but I am running Windows 7 ( It might have been a help had I added that at the start) the revouninstaller which I have on my system already wants to remove almost all of the add ons or maybe I don't understand it too well.
I have tried a fix for Error 1722 and one for Error 1603 both with no help so If anyone else know what to do, give me a shout. Thanks for your interest. Rafman. 😀
Let revo work.
If you have any part of an old installation of FSX on your computer you cannot install a new version.
In the computers "mind" that would be two copies of FSX and it won't allow it.
Clean the old out, every line.

I too had a great deal of troubled reloading FSX until I got a hold of these instruction from PMDG st: http://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx
OK and Thanks to All, I've finally had some time to sit with the problem and it's now fixed and running 😛 😂 😀 😎 It's good to be back and I'm still downloading, So Thanks again. Rafman925.
