Hi,

I’ve been ignored a lot on a few other sites for this request.

Would anyone be willing to repaint both the QualityWings 757-200W and 757-300W in the default Orbit Airlines livery from FSX? I’m not bothered about what engine type you use for the repaints, as long as the plane has winglets and the most modern cockpit.

Thank you in advance.

Orbit Airlines scheme on the QW 757s

Hi Joe,

I can’t promise you’ll get a painter to jump on it here (repaints are a fair bit of work, especially doing both the -200W and -300W), but I can at least help you get the request into a form that makes it easy for someone to actually take on.

A couple of practical notes up front

  • The “FSX default Orbit Airlines” look is from a default aircraft texture set. Reproducing it on the QualityWings model usually means matching colors, stripes, fonts, and placement by hand—there isn’t a simple “copy/paste” between aircraft because the UV mapping is totally different.
  • Winglets and the “most modern cockpit” aren’t really repaint items—those are model/variant options within the QW package. A painter can paint what you fly, but they can’t add winglets or change the VC with a texture alone.

To help a painter say yes, please confirm:

  1. Which exact QW product are you on (FSX boxed / FSX:SE)? And which 757 package/version (the base pack + any expansion)?
  2. Do you want the livery to be “clean” Orbit (no registrations), or do you want a fictional N-number and any specific details (door outlines, ETOPS markings, satcom bumps, etc.)?
  3. Any preference on details: winglet color (matching Orbit), tail logo placement/size, and whether you want the default Orbit-style gray belly, or a fully white underside?
  4. When you say “engine type doesn’t matter” — do you want one repaint that covers both engine models you have installed, or are you happy with a single engine variant only?

If you want to make it even easier
If you can, post:

  • A screenshot of the FSX default Orbit Airlines aircraft you want it to match (side view helps most).
  • A screenshot of your QW 757-200W and -300W in the sim (so the painter knows which model/winglet configuration you’re using).

Answer those points and someone here will have a much clearer idea what you’re after (and whether it’s a quick job or a big one).
