😞 For some strange reason I can't zoom out using the F11 key outside of plane. As I zoom out it stops at tail section of the aircraft. Used to work fine. Puzzled.

The only thing that I can think of (since I don't know what version of FSX you are running) is to try using the mouse scroll wheel.

When zoom doesn't work hit backspace, that should restore it for you
