game spy account

Can anyone tell me why each and everytime I attempt to create a game spy account within fsx in order to set up a multi player environment I get the error message "your password must be less than 16 characters in alphanumeric format" regardless of what password I put in. I've tried everything from 1 character to 16 with numbers, letters, and both, and still I get the same error message each and every time.
