TWA, in 1958 I had a wonderful flight on a TWA Super Constellation from Los Angeles to Indianapolis. That was a great airplane, loved that flight. The only commercial flight I liked. |

Absolutely 100% I go along with Kurt and RadarMan. -PSA baby!! -Of all the 'extinct' airlines they were the most unique and happenin'. -I also flew PSA once my own self. KSFO > KSAN.

British Caledonian when it stood by itself was a great airline and the in-flight service was the best I've come across if you were flying with the family. I made many trips with them as the preferred airline. When B cal were "swallowed up" they tried to keep their standards and I think kept their branding for a while but sank under the new "favourite peoples airline" into the "sit'm down, throw them some food and then put the lights out" attitude that prevails on most intercon flights now. Have made several flights coast to coast in the USA but no airline stood out as being above the rest. |

My neighbors uncle used to fly for them, I always like that smile on their planes too. |

Mine was Canadian Airlines...one of the largest-ever Canuck airlines and with a really interesting history about it (moreso than the gov't-backed Air Canada, although my favourite current jetliner is the Air Canada A340 - go figure). Some pics of a few 1/400 scale models in Canadi>n colours below.
