After having gone through several tutorials involving PSP and repainting aircraft, I had all but given up on the process. Things were just not "clicking" in my noggin as to how to do it.

Then, I learned about FS Repaint from Abacus. I tried the demo, and found it quite intuitive. It also allowed me to still use PSP7 to do the actual painting still, but to not have to worry about converting this format to that format, etc.

Although my first attempt is quite rudimentary, it took me less than 15 minutes from start to finish. It's the VA I use for my FS Passengers airline.

Well, back for practice. 🙂

Carenado Piper Archer II (it's a link *g*)

would you recommend I bought it? Can I really make my own fleet with different names and everything?

Answered

For $17? Yeah...I pretty much exclusively fly Flight-1's 172R Skyhawk ($24.95) and the Piper Archer.

I don't have a blank template for the 172, but I do for the Piper. You can design your fleet any way you see fit. 🙂

Hi, I am new to repaints. How did you maintain the texture of the tail when inserting the gromit image?

Answered

Gorgeous repaints, I'm going to have to look at that program!
