i have just become a member of Fly Away and was wondering how the downloads worked i.e. i saw one that said it cost money others dont
justwondering as given payment details when subsribing to Fly Away
are they FREE?

First welcome aboard, all the downloads as a member are free. The one's that co$t $ are probably the advertisements or the articles written about "pay-ware".
Everything at this link should be free downloads as long as you are "signed-in".
Any problems loading them into the sim please let us know we are all more than willing to help.
