Do you mean Peter, I believe that's his first name. if so, I think he is still in it, I thought he was in 2nd place at present. With the Brit in 1st. Bonhomme.

Peter... I'm not sure, his surname sounds French and he's already won a few championships but sadly, recently in Hungary he hit a chicane and lost valuable points.
Unless I've misheard, those pilots pull more Gs than jetfighter pilots and this Hungarian champ in particular isn't exactly a spring chicken. Admirable.

That's the right name. And yes, I believe I heard it's 10G, end up with your brains under your seat. I liked the bit about always having a 'chute, and how it has to be used. Still suppose it helps with the feeling safer factor.
