I tried to record my flights for review, but I found the "flight video" selection in the drop-down menu is greyed-out.

how do I activate it?

I noticed that this option is activated only in Free Flight option. Try it.

I tried as you said. You are right ! It only works in Free Flights.
I wonder why MS made it that way?
