Way to add addons to original FSX traffic?

Hello

I've just got acquainted with FSX and in doing so I've downloaded a couple of repaints for the original 747 and 737 aircraft.

These aircraft are also used if you activate the traffic function in FSX but they do not use the livery I added.

Is there a way to do this? If so, how?
