is the fs economy multiplayer with other real people?

Radarman, I downloaded the spartan executive from the link you gave me and it has to be the best piece of freeware I have seen. I have made (my first ever) short video of me flying a circuit in it at my local airfield, which I will post for people to have a look at.

He (Milton Shupe) builds some of the highest quality free-ware I've ever seen.
They are all award winners. He could easily get money for them but likes to have everyone enjoy his work.

I saw that vid mossy... that is awesome. That really is a great plane. I may have to check out what they have.

no, you don't play in real time with others, it's not an 'online' game. you download the required client to to play and select assignments and rent aircraft from your control panel on the site.

once you've rented an aircraft (or bought one if you have enough $$$) you can start fs9/fsx up and then start the assignment through the client. then you fly the goods from one place to another and after you've landed the client logs your flight and you receive the money for that assignment.

once you've saved some money up you can buy your own aircraft and fbos (fixed base operations) at any airport in the game. you can fly fuel and supplies and building materials in and then sell them on to other players for a profit.

all good fun....i wouldn't play fs any other way from now on...it makes it into a proper game with objectives and goals. not for everyone i dare say, but it's a lot of fun 🙂
