I have installed a new sound card (the old one my motherboard crashed). Now I can get all of the sounds in FSX and FS9 but cannot get any of the conversations with ATC.
Do any of you out there have any ideas of what I can try? My new PCI sound card is a Turtle Beach product, the Riviera 5.1 channel surround sound.

Hi I would check that you have the lastest drivers for this sound card
Thanks for the suggestion. I did go on-line to the Turtle Beach web site and search for a driver upgrade when I installed the sound card using the included CD. I did that during the initial installation and tried again when I reinstalled the driver.
I'm still open to any other suggestions other than trashing the card and purchasing another new one.
FS9 had issues with that brand card, FSX might have it also.
I use Creative.
