I just brought my brand new system home, put FSX in the dvd and ran the install. It's loading but it's been 1.5 hrs now and the dvd drive sounds like an old Model T. Do I have an issue with my drive?

Nevermind. Apparently the drive needed to try again even though that was its maiden voyage. Liiiiiiittle suspicious...
Try it with another disk, if it makes noise send it back.
