The newly dowloaded AIRAC file installs correctly, however it appears that it has removed previous waypoints. Now it would seem to me that when installing a new AIRAC update that the previous waypoints would be left alone and only new ones would be added but it appears that this is not the case. What is the standard procedure for updating the latest AIRAC files and why does the new AIRAC file erase some older waypoints which have been used for flight plans. It seems to be self defeating.
