Cannot change airplanes

Hi,

My problem is I cannot change airplanes after the default has started at the startup screen. When I select a different plane the FSX freezes.
The default flight starts fine. The only thing I have done since it last worked was update my navigraph FMS data. Help please.

FSX with all updates
windows 7 64
Alienware Aurora New

First check and see if you have the latest video drivers.
If not, clean out the old and install the new.
If that's not the case delete your log file, the Sim will build a new one and see if that works.
Nice machine!

Thanks,

I have done that didn't work. I'm very upset with this. I have just
gotten everything running good. In all the years I have done this never
had this.

Delete the last add-on aircraft that you installed.

If the doesn't do it try deleting the fsx cfg file, the Sim will build a new one.

I tried deleting the fsx cfg file and it didn't work. I have also
installed FSCrew do you think that could be a problem?

If it stops working after you load a new item then it must be the new item.
Try it and see.

I have tried that same thing.

I thought the log file would do it.

I guess that the only thing left is to clean it out and reinstall.
That is of course if no one else has the solution.

This works for FSX, if you leave one bit of the old Sim the new install won't work.
