Hi please go gentle with me as I have been away from sims and PC's for years
Back in the day I used to buy all the flight sims that were available back then ( as far back as Jane's Israeli Air Force ) play them briefly then move on without mastering them . So now retired I have dozens of boxed sims and add ons . Having looked at compatibility problems with modern systems I decided it would be to purchase a refurbished retro system off eBay. The common operating system that most games was windows XP , so I purchased a system running on win XP sp3 plus the latest drivers etc very cheaply.
First Game I installed was Flight Sim X Gold Edition with the acceleration expansion pack. This went like a dream I'd never even opened the cellophane wrapping but installed instantly and was able to register both products using the UK customer support line.
l similarly was able to install CFS 3 but cannot find a way to to register it. I have the key but no internet access on the PC ( I use Mac) is there anyway I can use the key to register..? Many thanks Andy
