Hello,
I use Map Enhancement VPro in X-Plane 12.
If I want to use the file XPlane12-Ortho-Ireland, where should I place it in the scenery.ini?
I think Map Enhancement should be last, but I’d like a confirmation.
Thanks.

scenery_packs.ini order (XP12) with Map Enhancement VPro + Ortho
In X-Plane, the general rule is: airports on top, overlays next, orthos/meshes at the bottom. Anything that’s a base mesh (orthophoto tiles, UHD mesh, HD mesh, etc.) wants to live down near the end of the file so it doesn’t get “covered” by another mesh above it.
So yes—your instinct is basically right: if Map Enhancement VPro is providing the ortho/mesh layer, it should be at/near the bottom, and any other ortho mesh (like XPlane12-Ortho-Ireland) needs to be placed relative to it depending on which one you want to “win.”

Quick sanity check
The easiest way to confirm what it is: open the XPlane12-Ortho-Ireland folder and see what’s inside.
Earth nav data and lots of .dsf tiles (and typically textures), it’s a mesh/ortho package → keep it near the bottom.
A couple questions so I don’t steer you wrong
1) Is “XPlane12-Ortho-Ireland” a full ortho mesh (Ortho4XP-style tiles), or is it an overlay-only package? (What folders/files do you see inside it?)
2) In your scenery_packs.ini, what is the exact name of the Map Enhancement VPro entry line (just paste the line)?
3) Are you also using any overlay packages for Ireland (anything labeled “overlay,” “simHeaven,” etc.)?
