HiI have been using my copy of FSX on my old laptop (win 10 ) for many years. I have now purchased a Win 11laptop that has a larger GPU. And was looking forward to running FSX on the new laptop.I have loaded FSX onto my Win 11 Gigabyte laptop ACPI x64-based PC, running an Intel i7 Processor, 16 gb of Memory, and Nvidia Geforce RTX 5050 laptop GPU with a 1 TGB SSD.I have run setup and got a 1722 ERROR code, on pressing OK setup ROLLS BACK removing all files and ends showing a 1603 ERROR code, on pressing ok FSX shows a FINISH window, on pressing FINISH closes window. NO PROGRAM LOADED OR FILES REMAINING ON THE COMPUTER.I have now after many resets of my computer and failed setups of FSX managed to load a working copy of FSX on my laptop. This was achieved by running setup of Direct9 before loading and downloading all set up files of Visual-C-Runtimes- all-in One on my laptop.By not pressing OK at the 1722 ERROR Code but going for a reboot of the computer. I have now a working file of FSX. but I have no Scenery. On loading the FSX file from the program file (not in the Program Files (x86) location), from a separate Folder. The program boots up but shows a small window stating:Scenery.cfg file error. Local scenery directory(Scenery\World\SCENERY) in scenery Area.001Not found Click OK to continue  FOLLOW BYSCENERY.CFG file error. Local scenery directory(Scenery\EUR W/SCENERY) in scenery Area.103Not found click OK to continue The program continues to load and runs. However Sound, Free Flight, changing aircraft, airport and time of day  all work and then a  window opens to fly.Now to my problem: on pressing Fly Now The cockpit dials, plane, airport runway, sky, vehicles all ok but ground shows as light blue (no trees or grass or roads or buildings. Is there any way to put the Scenery files into the right directory, and setup so FSX can find them? Hopefully without removing FSX from my machine.I offer this as a challenge Steve Hornsby
