OK. Now I am interested. How do you find out that information. I am still learning.

Answered

Go to c/program files/microsoft games/flight simulator 9 and right click on it and click on properties. Then wait until it stops and it'll tell you "how big".

467 Folders.

According to the compairisons I am missing some files and folders. I have installed the full version and updated FS9 and this includes the NO-Crack CD exe.
I fyou have been following forums I have rebuilt my machine. FS sometimes starts. It always starts in Safe MODE (NO FUN) and even in safe mode it stops running. Maybe I am missing some of the folders and files that the rest of you have. Any help would be appreciated.

Mine is 5.23 GB.

2.94 gig, but i just cleaned out a bunch of stuff. I wish I had checked before.
Actually, now that I think about it, I am wondering why I keep any of it. Once you install, why not delete it?

Answered

because you may have a hard time finding it again if you ever want to fly it once more.

You gotta install more stuff. 😉

Answered

Mine seems to be 8.95. When you all say why keep stuff it makes me wonder
because I always thought that I must save downloaded FS files in order to keep them.

That is to say that if I delete any zip files of aircraft, different addons or scenery then
they will no longer be 'installed' and therefore, not show up in the sim?

-Would that be correct? 😕

Answered

Depends on where you keep your ZIP's etc, usually away from that folder so they wouldn't show up.

I have around 18Gb of add-ons too which don't show up in that folder.

Answered

Man, that's nuts!

I bet it's the scenery addons that do it? Otherwise, you got a freakin LOAD of aircraft!
