troubleshooting select a flight PLEASE HELP!

djdeevw Guest

ok i just purchased microsoft flight simulator 2004 and everytime I choose select a flight and scroll down to a selected flight for example...Modern: Cargo Pilot (Hard) and select Tokyo to Hong Kong my system crashes, without even trying to load the map. This happens to at least 85% of the "scenarios"...anyone else having this problem? if so is there a way to fix it...I downloaded the newest patch as well...

If you can give us all the specs of your computer that would be a big help.

Did you try to lower the Graphics settings from FS menu?Yous GFX is a quite old and by pushing it ,you could have an FS crash.

A re-installation of FS never was a bad solution though. 😉

Hi djdeevw 😉

Assuming that you haven't been sold a beta copy masquerading as the real thing (don't laugh, it happens), try updating your video card drivers to the latest version, as this fixes the problem about 90% of the time.

Found here....... http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_84.21.html

Failing that, you may find your solution here............

Good luck. 😉
