I wondered if somebody out there can tell me how can i go about replacing # 4 cd flight 2004 or do I have to purchase a whole new game?

You can get a replacement from MS support at no charge. Sorry, I don't have the URL, but I am sure someone here can give it to you.

Here is the replacement number for MS. Meanwhile you can use the no-cd crack if you like.
There are two choices, one for the unpatched version (9.0) and one for the patched version (9.1).
They are both available in the download (utility) section of this site.

I use the no-cd crack all the time for convenience sake. No worrying about your CD going bad and not being able to play FS anymore... I'd highly recommend just going that route.
