Hi,
I live in Spain, in Málaga. Does anyone know any pilot schools in the region of Andalucía or near Málaga? If not, can someone just give me information on the entry to pilot schools, for instance, entry requirements, entry price, physical conditions,....

Thanks.

heh, sorry bud, I'm from the US. the only school I can recommend on the international level is Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida.

As for your question, sorry I'm not familiar with European flight schools.

I collect the Avion Revue magazines and they have lots of information about pilot schools. Most of the magazines I have were bought in Spain.

Anyway, here's a list of pilot school in Spain.

Airman (www.airman.es) This one have one in Madrid and one in Málaga.

Airman Málaga

Aerotec (www.aerotec.es) Also they have one in Málaga.

They have more in Sevilla, Tenerife, Madrid, Palma, and Las Palmas.

Uco Aviación (www.ucoaviacion.com)

Y mucha suerte!! 😉

What? They have pilot schools in Las Palmas? Are you sure about this? Then I guess you can get your PPL, but not the other things needed to become a airline transport pilot. Am I correct?

I'd love more information on this if possible, since I am from Las Palmas myself (live in Norway though)

Aerotec have one in Las Palmas. That's what my magazine is telling me, but I didn't check the website.

The telephone number is (92😎 13 20 41
E-mail: laspalmas@aerotec.es

They have an A320 real simulator 😳. And yes, they offer an ATPL course.

It looks very nice, in my opinion.

When I was doing my research about pilot schools, I checked a lot of them in Spain, but they were more expensive than the one I am going to go in Évora, Portugal. And this one is very professional! 😉

I am going to start, definitely, my pilot school on April 17th. Actually that day starts a two-week course of Mathematics and Physics. Then on May 8th the pilot course will start. I will do nine months of Ground School, and then the rest will be flying. This course will take one year and a half. After that I will have my Commercial License and 150-200 hours of flying.

I was supposed to start my pilot school earlier, but I have some important things to do first, such as getting my driver's license, rent a house in Évora (the city where my pilot school is located in Portugal), and have a car. I now have everything I need. Maybe on April 15th I will be leaving to Évora.

Also, my pilot school told me that the course was going to start on March, but then they changed the date.

My goal is to be a Commercial Airline Transport Pilot. I'd love to work for TAP Portugal for some time and then work for Iberia. But if another airline hires me, I surely will accept it.

So there you go, my little story 😉

Interesante.
