Is there a way to "paint" Jets?

You might be able to save yourself some trouble... I'm almost sure I've seen F-14s in Grim Reaper liveries.

Also most airplanes come with paint templates also if you are experienced.

It was a package including several textures. I didn't keep it because I preferred the flight dynamics of another model at the time and have lost track since. Try and search avsim, flightsim and simvation for all their F-14s, it's bound to be there somewhere.

This is a grim reaper but not the one you want.

Thanks for having a look RM -- maybe there used to be a Grim Reaper texture for the F-14 in FS2002 or maybe my brain is going mushy. The 'Tomcatters' used to release their packages with a whole bunch of textures.
I do like your link to the Mosquito though, you might have just found a taker. 😀
