Hey guys

Sorry about asking the same question that everybody else asks but I dont know whether it is worth buying the $119 FSX if my computer cant play it so just to clarify it...

can my computer play fsx?

Specs

-AMD Cpu 2200+

-512mb of ram

-ATI Radeon 9600pro 256mb of ram

I also tried the gameadvisor link but it would not work, it keep saying internet explorer 6 needed even though i was using internet explorer 6.

Your CPU isn't too bad.
You need more ram.
That card needs to be upgraded.
You'll see quite a bit, the autogen, air traffic and clouds will eat you alive, those have to be turned down or almost off to enjoy it.

Hi thanks for your help

just another question

What video card would you recommend for an AGP motherboard? (Asus A7N8X deluxe)

Answered

Also what would be more important to buy for FSX the new ram or a better graphics card?

what would make more of a difference in graphics and frames rates and stuff?

Answered

$119 for FSX? Where did you see that. Please tell me it includes shipping.

Answered

I am in Australia and that is the retail price in AUD for the deluxe version.

In USD I think it is somewhere around $90

I have an AGP slot and the best AGP graphic card i could find was this one
http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=392225&source=nextag

But im getting a new computer soon with a PCI-E 16x slot and if everyone had the money, buy this Graphic Card. Its amazing! Experience FSX in its full amazing version.

Better graphics with a better card, speed and rendering with more ram.
When it comes down to it you need a bit of both.
All depends on the size of your wallet. 🙄
