Traineeit was working fine then loaded up the game and the gps dosent work, the window opens up when i press the button, but its as if it is switched off, no idea why this has happened

TraineePut the puppy in pause and have a cup of java....then the machine has a chance to catch up and when it has; you can then start to expect radio failures for the same reason. just keep flying the worm run out to patch 7
Is everything else on your panel turned on? Maybe you hit the master battery off switch. i think it's shift+M.
