Vista v Xp memory useage?
On my Xp computer with 2gb of ram, FSX uses 537,596 k when I'm flying.
Someboby with FSX running on Vista (DX9) please reply with how much ram is being used by FSX.exe

This amount of memory being used is going to be determined by the eye candy that you have turned on... the higher the display settings, the more memory it will use... For instance, I use XP Home, and with 2gig of PC-4200, use over 900mb of mem... So there are more factors than simply... randomly comparing mem useage.
Humm, you are right.
I'll have to install Vista and FSX, them configure it as it was under Xp.
Then check to see if it needs more memory.
