Ready to do the helicopter missions and learn how to fly these rascals - The SimYoke does not get it with a chopper - What is the "best" controller you folks have found to use? - Thanks in advance.

I bought the non-pro version before i realized i needed the twisting function.

I couldn't afford another stick, so I play with what I have.

Now I am an expert in flying the helicopter by the stick alone !
I can pretty well do everything except making a quick directional change.

I had the Extreme 3D Pro....it was a great stick for arcade-style flying, like flying the helicopters and aircraft in Battlefield 2, but I found the X52 FCS from Saitek a must for FSX. It is very precise in throttle response and you can program it so that your speed brake, flaps and landing gear controls are at your fingertips.

I won't drop 2 Grand on a FCS that takes up more space than my computer!!! 😀

is the left "stick" for throttle?

i thought you are supposed to use your right hand to control it ???
