FSX will not work on Linux or any other non-Windows OS because it is a Windows game. However, You *might* be able to get it to work using WINE(www.winehq.org).

Not without other software.

I'm not sure if Wine will run it as I have never tried it but you can try that. If not I guess it will be a vmware job and will probably be pointless unless you have a super spec system.

at a minimum, you will need directX.

directX is microsoft.
