ready for a challenge
guys we've quite often discussed ab himalay airports and how difficult are the approaches there!
Anybody tried landing at Khorog ( city and airport name). This is a remote airport in Tajikistan i recently found out! Not sure about the airport code.
Comparing to a lukla landing this is much difficult. Both airports are in deep valleys but elevation of 10k feet makes it easir to descend in lukla. Khorag has an elevation of 7.5k feet and surrounded by mountains of 16k feet which actually means within 6 miles out u'll have to descend 10k feet which is tough! And dont even try the biggies.
