First OfficerUploaded fictional Flying Fox textures for the default Boeing 777-300 to AVSIM, as usual type my name 'colin reece' in the AVSIM search if you want them.
I' kept it plain and simple leaving off the flag and reg so it can be used multi-national.

Yes it does, I sometimes get a model and have to clean it off before I can do a repaint, if I remember to do it I save the cleaned version for if I do another paint.
I must admit I've forgot as well and had to clean it off again when doing another paint, but yes having the blanks is a big help.
