Square Black smoke issue ?

Ok, i know for a fact that this is NOT from my editing of my vista core and such. this also effects, touch down smoke, rain mist, start up smoke and such.
I had this issue once before, but reinstalling FSX fixed it. But reinstalling X now is not an option for me. Any idea's? Thanks
