FDSFX Problem

I have tryed to install the FDSFX panel on my PC with Windows 7. Every time I try to take the FDSFX Panel Config Text files to the panel, I give the [window] a name, it won't save the document. IF it saves, i open Flight simulator, then the panel is gone.
Can anyone help?
