Flight Simulator X Acceleration unable to intall

Hi
I just purchased Flight Simulator X Gold edition with Acceleration as an extra.
Flight Simulator X loads and plays great, but Acceleration does not want to install as it is looking for the original Flight Simulator X which I know is there on my HD (I play the Game). There are no error codes. It just asks to install later...?
My PC is running win 7 with enough computing power as i am currently playing Cliffs of Dover on fairly high settings.
Any help on how i can turn my expensive shiny coaster to a software flightsim?

If you used the default install for FSX the folder is in C:/Program Files(x86)/Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X. When installing Acceleration that file location is what should show where to install Acceleration. Use the 'browse' button to find the FSX install if it doesn't show when loading Acceleration install setup. Also don't forget to activate both FSX and Acceleration they are separate activation registrations!
