Visual flight path for VFR?

Greetings. Is there any way to turn on the Virtual Flight Path when flying VFR? According to the documentation, it's only available for IFR but I was wondering if there's a way around this. My descents kind of suck and I would like to be able to turn on the glideslope flight path in order to practice my descents. I could just fly IFR I suppose, but why do it the easy way! I enjoy flying VFR and since I'm just flying single props until I feel like I can handle something bigger, using the virtual flight path would be most helpful. Thanks!
