TraineeI have Fernandez' Nimitz carrier saved in my downloads. When I try to install it into FSX I get the message in a dialog box stating "Cannot create C:\Program Files9(x86)\Microsoft Games\ Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Effects\fx_beaconb_cvn.fx". I tried many workarounds to overcome the problem but none were effective. I have never had this problem with Fernandez Nimitz carrier in the past. Would appreciate help on this problem very much.

Chief CaptainTry removing Effects\fx_beaconb_cvn.fx from the main effects folder were you put it and see what happens.
Just leave it on desktop for the trial.
