Boeing 777 Approach - Flight Simulator X (Aircraft)

Hi,ive just started flying the 777 everything is working ok until it comes to the approach everything is put into the gps but when I push the approach button nothing happens it just keeps flying straight,i hope this is enough information for you to help me with a solution.
