So, why can't I install WOAI package - "unhandled exception has occurred … The given path is not supported."
Win 10, on another drive, NET installed. Should I bother?

If I'm reading you correctly you want to install http://www.world-of-ai.com/packages.php on a drive other that "C".
It will work better to install it on the drive that the Sim is on.
