I'm running FSX Gold edition incl Accelerator (not steam) on Windows 10 on a souped up computer with 16 gb RAM and 16gb RAM Vid card and plenty of hard disk storage.

However, I cant' download weather even when connected to the internet!

Can anyone assist me with this problem?

Thanks in advance

See if this helps. I know you don't have Steam but this applies to regular FSX also.

You can try these add-ons.

Hasn't worked for me for weeks, I switched to FSXWX and it rocks!

The weather downloads for FSX have stopped working for some time now. Microsoft defaulted royalties to Jeppesen since 2002 and obviously they got fed up and cancelled offering their service for free.

FSXWX is a very good alternative to a free weather program, as Enko says: It Rocks!

I tried the FSXWX site and downloaded the client file, mapping.bin, and the cloud texture file but still getting the unable to download error for weather updates.
