I looked for a readme within the extracted downloaded contents but did not observe any. After automatic installation, I selected the KLM version and expected to hear the pilot / ATC use the aircraft call sign of "KLM" but was (not) surprised to hear a very generic "Boeing" instead.
Does anyone know if this download pack includes the sound files to make it possible for ATC and pilot to refer to the aircraft according to the chosen livery? If I choose KLM, I'd like to hear something like "...tower, KLM 4562 IFR clearance to Heathrow..." or "tower, Lufthansa 1270 requesting ...." Obviously, if the pack does not include sound files for aircraft call signs then FSX must use whatever default sound file is available.
Can anyone tell me if the rear passenger door or starboard service doors, or the starboard cargo doors are supposed to open?
I did manage to tweak the default aircraft files to give me V1 & V2 callouts on takeoff, GPWS callouts starting at 2500 and some in-flight service announcements all working within the virtual cockpit, and I have all my working passenger, service and cargo doors with ATC callouts according to the chosen default livery. Just have to live with default liveries.
But if there is a way to configure the 777 livery files so that I hear KLM or any other livery (without having to record the sound files myself), I would appreciate any feedback. My PC does not have the requisite power or graphics to accommodate the more advanced payware 737 or other options designed for FSX (that I presume would include ATC callouts), so, I'm limited to liveries based on the default FSX jets. I just don't understand why downloaded liveries like KLM or United that are based on the default models cause default options like service doors to stop working or why features are coded only to work in 2D and not also in the virtual cockpit.
