(Sorry for the ugly URL, but it was the first place I spotted the story!)

So apparently this new version can officially fly from London to Sydney, or up to 9500 miles!! That's incredible!

That's a long time to sit in the bus sandwiched between a drunk Puke Up and a crying Baby baby.

Um... hang on, I thought it was the 7E7, then they changed the name to the 787, and now the 777? Or are they different aircraft?

They're still producing the 787 for sure, but that's more of a midrange aircraft. The 777 LR is just a new version of the 777 already in use. This one has a few extra fuel tanks on there which apparently boosts its range pretty far.

I just seen a news article on it..... The new 777-200 LR..... Don't get confused with this and the new Dreamliner (recently named as the 787)... as OriginalGrunge said, this is the 777 that was launched in 1994 but with larger new tanks giving the new super range. The article I saw reckoned the new plane could manage 11,000 miles !
